Stories Never Told: Yemen’s Crises & Renaissance is a traveling exhibit and online digital storytelling platform curated by Detroit based Yemeni-American social entrepreneur Hanan Ali Yahya. The exhibit visually narrates the artistic renaissance born out of Yemen’s crises. It piloted at the Arab American National Museum in February of 2019 and traveled through Michigan, parts of the United States reaching over 1000 people. The gallery features the visual art, short films, poetry, writing and productions of Yemeni artists residing in Yemen and the diaspora.
